LSM Domain Containing 1, or N(alpha)-acetyltransferase 38, NatC auxiliary subunit, is a human gene encoded by NAA38. It may also be known as: N-alpha-acetyltransferase 38, NatC auxiliary subunit; LSM domain-containing protein 1; Phosphonoformate immuno-associated protein 2; LSMD1; PFAAP2. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 125 and a mass of 13.5 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. LSM Domain Containing 1 is a member of the SnRNP Sm proteins family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Frog.
