Anti-GGF2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GGF2 is a known alias name of the protein neuregulin 1, encoded by the NRG1 gene in humans. This 640-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features O-glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications.
