Anti-Myosin light chain 7 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene MYL7 in humans. The gene may also be known as myosin, light polypeptide 7, regulatory, MYL2A, MYLC2A, myosin regulatory light chain 2, atrial isoform, and MLC-2a. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 19.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
