Anti-JAM-3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The JAM-3 antigen is another term for the human protein junctional adhesion molecule 3, encoded by the JAM3 gene. The protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and angiogenesis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 310 residues and a mass of 35 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus and fallopian tube. The JAM-3 protein is a member of the Immunoglobulin protein superfamily.
