Anti-PRES antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRES is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 26 member 5, encoded by the SLC26A5 gene in humans. This 744-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a motor protein that converts auditory stimuli to length changes in outer hair cells and mediates sound amplification in the mammalian hearing organ. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Indicated applications for PRES antibodies listed below include ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
