Anti-FAC1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FAC1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BPTF gene, which encodes bromodomain PHD finger transcription factor. This protein is known to function in brain development and chromatin remodeling, among other biological roles. The human version of FAC1 has a canonical amino acid length of 3046 residues and a protein mass of 338.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. Other names for this target antigen include FALZ and NEDDFL. Indicated applications for FAC1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
