Anti-Cav1.4 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Cav1.4 antigen is another term for the human protein calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 F, encoded by the CACNA1F gene. The protein is known to function in the transport of ions, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1977 residues and a mass of 220.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and it is expressed in the small intestine, retina, duodenum, and colon. The Cav1.4 protein is a member of the Calcium channel alpha-1 subunit (TC 1.A.1.11) protein family.
