Anti-PNGase antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PNGase antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NGLY1 gene, which encodes N-glycanase 1. This protein is known to function in protein folding, among other biological roles. The human version of PNGase has a canonical amino acid length of 654 residues and a protein mass of 74.4 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. PNGase is a member of the PNGase protein family.
