Anti-Zfp385 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Zfp385 antigen is another term for the human protein zinc finger protein 385A, encoded by the ZNF385A gene. The protein is reported to be a RNA-binding protein that affects the localization and the translation of a subset of mRNA. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 386 residues and a mass of 40.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be highly expressed in the retina. Other alias names for Zfp385 include HZF and RZF.
