Anti-Zimp7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Zimp7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZMIZ2 gene, which encodes zinc finger MIZ-type containing 2. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of Zimp7 has a canonical amino acid length of 920 residues and a protein mass of 96.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
