Anti-GCP3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GCP3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NAALAD2 gene, which encodes N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase 2. This protein is known to function in proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of GCP3 has a canonical amino acid length of 740 residues and a protein mass of 83.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the placenta and testis. GCP3 is a member of the Peptidase M28 protein family. Indicated applications for GCP3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
