Anti-Uroplakin III antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Uroplakin III antigen is another term for the human protein uroplakin 3A, encoded by the UPK3A gene. The protein is a known component of the asymmetric unit membrane (AUM); a highly specialized biomembrane elaborated by terminally differentiated urothelial cells. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 287 residues and a mass of 30.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and it is notably expressed in ureter. The Uroplakin III protein is a member of the Uroplakin-3 protein family. Other alias names for Uroplakin III include UP3A, UP3A, and UPIII. Indicated applications for Uroplakin III antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
