Anti-PFD6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PFD6 is a known alias name of the protein prefoldin subunit 6, encoded by the PFDN6 gene in humans. This 129-amino acid residue protein is known to bind specifically to cytosolic chaperonin (c-CPN) and transfers target proteins to it. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
