Anti-PBG1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PBG1 is a known alias name of the protein pregnancy specific beta-1-glycoprotein 1, encoded by the PSG1 gene in humans. This 419-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in signal transduction pathways, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the placenta and testis.
