Claudin13 antibodies are immunological tools used to detect the transmembrane protein Claudin 13. It belongs to the non-classical claudin group, and is encoded by the gene cldn13 in mice. It is a major component of tight junction filaments in endothelial and epithelial cells. Claudin 13 is believed to play a role in stress induced erythropoiesis.
