Anti-p60 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p60 is a known alias name of the protein Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 5, encoded by the ARHGEF5 gene in humans. This 1597-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and GTPase activation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
