Anti-SII antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SII is a known alias name of the protein transcription elongation factor A1, encoded by the TCEA1 gene in humans. This 301-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in transcription by RNA polymerase II, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for SII include GTF2S and TCEA. Indicated applications for SII antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
