Anti-TLF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TLF is a known alias name of the protein TATA-box binding protein like 1, encoded by the TBPL1 gene in humans. This 186-amino acid residue protein is reported to be part of a specialized transcription system that mediates the transcription of most ribosomal proteins through the 5'-TCT-3' motif which is a core promoter element at these genes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for TLF include MGC:8389, MGC:9620, and STUD. Indicated applications for TLF antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
