Anti-HCR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HCR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EIF2AK1 gene, which encodes eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 alpha kinase 1. This protein is known to function in cellular localization and macrophage differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of HCR has a canonical amino acid length of 630 residues and a protein mass of 71.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. HCR is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Indicated applications for HCR antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
