Anti-HHLA1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HHLA1 neighbor of OC90. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 531 amino acid residues and a mass of 58.3 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HERV-H LTR-associating protein 1, HERV-H LTR-associating 1, and PLA2L. HHLA1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the Hhla1 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
