Anti-IkB zeta antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IkB zeta antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NFKBIZ gene, which encodes NFKB inhibitor zeta. This protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of IkB zeta has a canonical amino acid length of 718 residues and a protein mass of 78.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the spleen, skin, lung, and bone marrow. Indicated applications for IkB zeta antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
