Anti-GSE1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Gse1 coiled-coil protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1217 amino acid residues and a mass of 136.2 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus and cerebral cortex. Synonyms for this target antigen include KIAA0182, genetic suppressor element 1, CTC-786C10.1, Gse1 coiled-coil protein homolog, and CRHSP24. GSE1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of Gse1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
