Anti-GalNAc-T7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GalNAc-T7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GALNT7 gene, which encodes polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 7. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of GalNAc-T7 has a canonical amino acid length of 657 residues and a protein mass of 75.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as GALNAC-T7.
