Anti-PLCA2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PLCA2 antigen is another term for the human protein interleukin 31 receptor A, encoded by the IL31RA gene. The protein is reported to associate with OSMR to form the interleukin-31 receptor which activates STAT3 and to a lower extent STAT1 and STAT5. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 732 residues and a mass of 83 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be expressed in CD14- and CD56-positive blood cells. The PLCA2 protein is a member of the Type I cytokine receptor protein family.
