Anti-LYS2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LYS2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AASDH gene, which encodes aminoadipate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase. This protein is known to function in fatty acid metabolism, among other biological roles. The human version of LYS2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1098 residues and a protein mass of 122.6 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. LYS2 is a member of the ATP-dependent AMP-binding enzyme protein family. Indicated applications for LYS2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
