Anti-LFA1A antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LFA1A antigen is another term for the human protein integrin subunit alpha L, encoded by the ITGAL gene. The protein is known to function in cell adhesion and cell matrix adhesion, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1170 residues and a mass of 128.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the lymph node, lung, endometrium, bone marrow, and appendix. The LFA1A protein is a member of the Integrin alpha chain protein family. Other alias names for LFA1A include CD11A, CD11A, and LFA-1.
