Anti-RNMX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RNMX is a known alias name of the protein RNA binding motif protein X-linked, encoded by the RBMX gene in humans. This 391-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a RNA-binding protein that plays several role in the regulation of pre- and post-transcriptional processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features methylated, O-glycosylated, acetylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is noted to be expressed strongly in oral keratinocytes, but only weakly detected in oral squamous cell carcinomas. Other synonyms for RNMX include HNRNPG, HNRPG, and MRXS11. Indicated applications for RNMX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
