Anti-T-box transcription factor 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TBX1 in humans. The gene may also be known as T-box 1, Brachyury, TBX1C, TGA, VCFS, and CAFS. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 43.1 kilodaltons in mass. The TBX1 marker can be used to identify Lymphatic Endothelial Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
