Anti-14-3-3 gamma antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target 14-3-3 gamma is a known alias name of the protein tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein gamma, encoded by the YWHAG gene in humans. This 247-amino acid residue protein is an adapter protein implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the brain, skeletal muscle, and heart. Other synonyms for 14-3-3 gamma include DEE56 and EIEE56. Indicated applications for 14-3-3 gamma antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
