Anti-CEP128 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein centrosomal protein 128. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1094 amino acid residues and a mass of 128 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. CEP128 is known to be involved with protein localization. Synonyms for this target antigen include centrosomal protein 128kDa, lens epithelium-derived protein, and centrosomal protein of 128 kDa. CEP128 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CEP128 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
