Anti-Rh2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Rh2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RHAG gene, which encodes Rh associated glycoprotein. The human version of Rh2 has a canonical amino acid length of 409 residues and a protein mass of 44.2 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include CD241, OHS, and OHST. Indicated applications for Rh2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
