Anti-ldp1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ldp1 is a known alias name of the protein lamin A/C, encoded by the LMNA gene in humans. This 664-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cellular response to hypoxia and muscle organ development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features sumoylated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for ldp1 include CDCD1, CDCD1, and CDDC. Western Blot is the most common application for the ldp1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
