Anti-Bite antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Bite antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CEP70 gene, which encodes centrosomal protein 70. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of Bite has a canonical amino acid length of 597 residues and a protein mass of 69.8 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for Bite antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
