Anti-OR6N2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 6 subfamily N member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 317 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 6N2 and olfactory receptor OR1-23. OR6N2 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR6N2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
