Anti-GSDMDC1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GSDMDC1 is a known alias name of the protein gasdermin D, encoded by the GSDMD gene in humans. This 484-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in inflammatory response pathways and innate immune responses, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and cleaved post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the suprabasal cells of esophagus, as well as in the isthmus/neck, pit, and gland of the stomach, suggesting preferential expression in differentiating cells. Indicated applications for GSDMDC1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
