Anti-ANF antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ANF antigen is another term for the human protein natriuretic peptide A, encoded by the NPPA gene. The protein is known to function in the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 151 residues and a mass of 16.4 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is expressed in the heart muscle. The ANF protein is a member of the Natriuretic peptide protein family.
