Anti-H2-Aa antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the H2-Aa antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the H2AC8 gene, which encodes H2A clustered histone 8. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include H2A.1, H2A.2, and H2A/a. Over 90 citations in the literature describe the use of H2-Aa antibodies in research. These antibodies are most commonly used in Flow Cytometry experiments, among other applications.
