Anti-SPAG11B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sperm associated antigen 11B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 103 amino acid residues and a mass of 11.4 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in caput and proximal corpus of epididymis. A member of the SPAG11 protein family, SPAG11B is known to have antimicrobial activity against E.coli (By similarity). Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include EDDM2B and EP2. These SPAG11B antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
