Anti-Glypican 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GPC1 in humans. The Glypican 1 protein has an expected mass of 61.7 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and glypican proteoglycan 1. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including yeast, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
