Anti-Wnt-8a antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Wnt-8a is a known alias name of the protein Wnt family member 8A, encoded by the WNT8A gene in humans. This 351-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features cleaved and glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for Wnt-8a include WNT8D, protein Wnt-8a, and protein Wnt-8d. A number of Wnt-8a antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
