Anti-NRK1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NRK1 is a known alias name of the protein nicotinamide riboside kinase 1, encoded by the NMRK1 gene in humans. This 199-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the phosphorylation of nicotinamide riboside (NR) and nicotinic acid riboside (NaR) to form nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and nicotinic acid mononucleotide (NaMN). It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for NRK1 include C9orf95 and bA235O14.2. Indicated applications for NRK1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
