Anti-CD234 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CD234 antigen is another term for the human protein atypical chemokine receptor 1 (Duffy blood group), encoded by the ACKR1 gene. The protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 336 residues and a mass of 35.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the rectum, placenta, kidney, endometrium, and colon. The CD234 protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Other alias names for CD234 include CCBP1 and DARC. Western Blot is the most common application for the CD234 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
