Anti-NDRG family member 3 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the NDRG3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 375 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.4 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the NDRG protein family, it is known to be involved with cell differentiation and the regulation of cell growth. Other names for this target antigen include protein NDRG3 and N-myc downstream-regulated gene 3 protein. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of NDRG family member 3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
