Anti-FAM110C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 110 member C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 321 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in the stomach, thyroid, trachea, adrenal gland and testis, and at low levels in prostate, ovary, intestine, colon, spinal cord and lymph node. A member of the FAM110 protein family, FAM110C is believed to play a role in microtubule organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM110C. FAM110C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the FAM110C antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
