Anti-RRP36 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal RNA processing 36. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 259 amino acid residues and a mass of 29.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the RRP36 protein family, RRP36 is reported to be involved in early processing steps of the pre-rRNA in the maturation pathway leading to the 18S rRNA. Synonyms for this target antigen include RNA processing factor, ribosomal RNA processing 36 homolog, and ribosomal RNA processing protein 36 homolog. RRP36 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the RRP36 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
