Anti-SPATA1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein spermatogenesis associated 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 459 amino acid residues and a mass of 52.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include spermatogenesis-associated protein 1 and sperm-specific protein SP-2. SPATA1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the Spata1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
