Anti-LUZP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein leucine zipper protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 346 amino acid residues and a mass of 39 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the cerebral cortex and hypothalamus. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. The LUZP2 marker can be used to identify Brain Splatter Neurons.* LUZP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some LUZP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
