Anti-PGPEP1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pyroglutamyl-peptidase I like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 196 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.6 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Peptidase C15 protein family, PGPEP1L is known to be involved with proteolysis. Synonyms for this target antigen include pyroglutamyl-peptidase 1-like protein. PGPEP1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These PGPEP1L antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
