Anti-LPPR1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LPPR1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLPPR1 gene, which encodes phospholipid phosphatase related 1. This protein is known to function in nervous system development and the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of LPPR1 has a canonical amino acid length of 325 residues and a protein mass of 35.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. LPPR1 is a member of the PA-phosphatase related phosphoesterase protein family.
