Anti-FHAD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein forkhead associated phosphopeptide binding domain 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1412 amino acid residues and a mass of 161.9 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the nasopharynx, fallopian tube, endometrium, cervix, and bronchus. Synonyms for this target antigen include FHA domain-containing protein 1, forkhead-associated (FHA) phosphopeptide binding domain 1, and forkhead-associated domain-containing protein 1. FHAD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the FHAD1 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
